It's years ahead of itunes in terms of speed, simplicity, features, syncing, and more. It is a bit hefty though, I wouldn't recommend running it on older generation hardware. I don't know if it makes much difference but if anything I would think topping off the battery when it's only at 85% would do the most damage to the length of each charge over its lifetime. Love them. The magnets are a neat feature and they're very comfortable and sound good (enough for me). Bass is decent if you get them in your ears far enough and create a good seal. I also get "cannot load requested page" with a lot of bing search results, but Google search results work fine. what the hell microsoft? I often will pause a podcast, play some music, listen to another podcast, and then later want to resume the original podcast. A quick look at history and one tap and it will be playing. Sure beats going to 'podcasts', scrolling through the list, finding the right episode, etc. One thing I miss in the UI is auto-scrolling. My podcast episode titles are sometimes cut off and it makes it impossible to see the episode number without going in to each one.
